Surface Adhesion

Surface adhesion and the mechanical interaction of surfaces are greatly influenced by frictional forces and electrostatic potentials between molecules on two surfaces. Plasma cleaning removes nanoscale organic contamination and increases surface hydrophilicity, which are critical for enhance surface adhesion to other films and coatings.
