Cleaning

Surface cleaning is often required to remove organic contaminants and prepare surfaces for subsequent processing. Plasma is often found to be more gentle than harsh wet chemical cleaning process, and can clean surfaces without affecting the bulk. Plasma cleaning may be one step in a multi-step cleaning process to prepare pristine surfaces.
