Ceramic nanowrinkles via a facile replication process

Wrinkled ceramic nanopatterns were fabricated via a molding and replication process. Wrinkled PDMS stamps generated in a lithography-free way were used as masters for structure replication onto pre-ceramic polymer films. The resulting structures of the ceramic precursor obtained from photopolymerization were converted to a ceramic material by pyrolysis at 800 degC in a nitrogen atmosphere.
